About

HandsOn is run by Eunice Mayhew who has a passion to ensure that children love good food and can handle it with confidence.

Eunice obtained a degree specialising in Food Science and Nutrition. She has thirty years teaching experience in schools and run HandsOn for 15 years.

  • Full DBS accreditation.
  • Level 2 award in Food Safet.y and Catering.
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • 5 Star Food Hygiene rating.

With the emphasis on participation (it’s why we’re called HandsOn!), everyone will be encouraged to experience for themselves the delights of all aspects of cooking, by handling, preparing and tasting the ingredients for themselves.

At the same time they will be amazed to discover just how and why various foods react to cooking, and why our bodies need different foods.
